The inauguration took place on February 1, 2019, at 20:00 (local time) on RTG 1 (TV Channel) and 1FM (Radio). The first broadcast was a live event. A friendly football match between the [[Guanabara National Football Team]] and the [[RUPA National Football Team]]. The match marked the first victory of the "Seleção Carioca" (1 - 0 ) in their second game as a professional and in the first game held inside the '''Guanabara''', at the [[Arena Cachambi]], in [[Rio de Janeiro]].
