A Rádio e Televisão da Guanabara, normalmente abreviada como RTG, is the predominant stated-own television broadcaster in the Guanabara. RTG has a network of 2 channels (RTG 1 and RTG 2) broadcasting different programmes and is accessible to more than ten million viewers. Most of its programmes are a mixture of sports, news, documentary, social education, comedy, entertainment, and drama.
É a principal rede de televisão da Guanabara à frente do Grupo Nova.
Historia
The inauguration took place on February 1, 2019, at 20:00 (local time) on RTG 1 (TV Channel) and 1FM (Radio). The first broadcast was a live event. A friendly football match between the Guanabara National Football Team and the RUPA National Football Team. The match marked the first victory of the "Seleção Carioca" (1 - 0 ) in their second game as a professional and in the first game held inside the Guanabara, at the Arena Cachambi, in Rio de Janeiro.
